  • Available in lots of colours

Our Drop Chair stays true to Arne Jacobsen’s original, featuring the same shape and design. We’ve updated the chair so it now comes available in leather and cashmere. Also available in lots of fun and staple colours like red, black and white, this chair serves multi-functional purposes as a piece of modern artwork and as a seat. Place it in the corner of your study or bedroom and enjoy the wonders of this beautiful classic.

The Drop Chair was first designed in 1958 exclusively for the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The chair was designed alongside other popular chairs, the Swan Chair and the Egg Chair. This partnership meant that limited numbers of the Drop Chair were produced, but now after more than fifty years, the chair is available to the public.

1902-1971 (Denmark)

Arne Jacobsen was one of Denmark’s most influential modern designers and a pioneer of minimalist Danish style. Part genius, part visionary, his creations included furniture, lighting, textiles and silverware. But he is best known for his elegant yet functional chair designs, the most famous of these being The Egg Chair, The Swan Chair, The Series 7 Chair and The Ant Chair. All Arne Jacobsen products complement each other perfectly, allowing you to mix, match and create your own unique style.

“Architecture tends to consume everything else, it has become one's entire life.”
